Barbara Bannister was a quilt scholar, pattern collector, and reprinted many of the popular patterns from the newspapers in the 1930s. She lived in northern Michigan where she ran her business Bel Air Needlecrafts. She corresponded with many of the early quilt historians.

This is a quilt pattern in one piece. An 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper with a quilt pattern copied from an earlier, published source. Handwritten text, hand drawn and thumbnail is hand drawn, full-size pattern pieces.
