Construction: The quilt has a diagonal pattern of single bands of blue geese on a white background. Where the bands of triangles intersect there is a blue square made from 4 blue triangles - 5 across the top row. The 4 intersections in the next row down is made from a white diamond inside a blue square (made from 4 blue triangles).

Related Items/Publications: Josephine made over 150 quilts. It is unknown if she had children of her own, but she cared for forty foster children.
