Patches of light brownish staining throughout, both front and back. Batting has shifted and clumped. Sashing triangles show much fading and abrasion damage, and >50 have been resewn or replaced. One small triangle missing altogether. Two patches on back, including a six inch strip along one entire end; two patches inlaid into front and not requilted.

Recycled sack backing and background; Blue printing, including words "Washington" and "Extra Fine" and picture of willow & cattails visible on front, especially in muslin framing four of the basket blocks. At some point the quilt has had some extensive restoration done, particularly on the pieced sashing; most of the replaced triangles have been set in with a crude whipstitch, some with a fine running stitch.
