Other notes on how the quiltmaker learned, and how and why they quilt:
It started as a hobby. Sometimes now it goes beyond this but I still like it. In the last 15 years or so with the relief sale going I've made 1 or 2 quilts every year. I serve on the committee. Also I've been making quilts each year for the Sunshine Children's Home Bazaar and Quilt Auction at Maumee, Ohio. Going to Florida in the winter I still make quilts for a Quilt Sale to help with drilling wells for water in Hattie. I piece quilts for friends too. The Lord has truly blessed me. I do enjoy it. This is one reason I keep making quilts for the Relief Sale and other charities.
