"It's an original adaptation of a 'Wedding Ring,'" learned from "books." How did you choose the materials used in your quilt? "I love printed cotton and worked in a fabric store at the time." How long have you been making quilts? "22 years" How did you learn to quilt? "Self taught." What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "Personal goal, public regognition, prize money; however, I don't often enter competitions." Has being a winner in the Land's End contest made a difference in your life? Has it changed the way you look at your work as a quilt maker? "No, it was just nice to be recognized in that way."
