"Chose fabrics to match drawings I had made." "Quilt design based on actual experiences with my dog." How long have you been making quilts? "5 years." How did you learn to quilt? Taught myself from books and magazines." What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "A cousin insisted that I enter. Have entered several quilts in local shows." Has being a winner in the Land's End contest made a difference in your life? Has it changed the way you look at your work as a quilt maker? "It completely changed the way I view my work. I didn't think I was good at all, because I knew where all the mistakes were hidden."
