Diagonal single parallel lines are machine quilted through centers of red and white squares. The lines cross to form grid/crosshatch diamonds in the the lattice. Some of the patches are shadow outline quilted. A quilted floral border frames the quilt.

The quilt top design appears to be inspired by the Irish Chain quilts. The red and white squares each measure 3 x 3 in. The quilt is bound with red solid/plain fabric in 2004.
