The quilt is exactly like one found in Ladies Home Journal, January 1912 and was described as: "The dogwood quilt offers another good choice in flower design and one of unusual delicacy and coloring. The full-grown blossoms on the green background reminds us delightfully of the beauty of trees and flowers in early spring." The pattern was available for purchase at the price of fifteen cents.
