Describe the borders:
A vine sewn in reverse applique encircles the eagle. The vine is 1/4" wide, of blue-green and white cotton print. Flowers and leaves, 5" to 7" in length, are cut from printed fabric and reverse appliqued to the vine. Small stems and leaves of blue, white, and tan cotton print are reverse appliqued to the inner corners of the vine. Border vine is 1/4" wide, and carries 5" to 7" red flowers and tan leaves cut from cotton print. Bunches of grapes are reverse appliqued onto the vine using blue and white cotton print underneath the quilt top and reverse applique circles. Fleur de Lis motif in each corner is made of the same blue and white cotton print.
