This quilt won a $50.00 cash prize at the Ohio State Fair (exact location of fair grounds and year uncertain). It was recorded in watercolor for the "Index of American Design" in 1938. Featured in "Woman's Day " magazine September 1941. There is a reproduction of this quilt in the James Collection at the University of Nebraska made after original quilt's image was published in the magazine.
