How was this quilt acquired?

Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

This vibrant red and green quilt was made by the donor's great-great-grandmother, Amelia Flavia Russell Tilden (1829-1932) in Pennsylvania c. 1850. The pattern is "Double Peony". Fabrics used include solid red and green on a white background (all cotton). The 13 hand-pieced and hand-appliqued blocks, 8 half-blocks and 4 corner blocks are set on point. They are all individually bordered with green fabric, then set with plain white 3" sashing. The green outer border measures 1 1/2" wide, and is on all four sides of the quilt. The binding is pieced from green and teal fabrics, and is hand-stitched. Despite its used, slightly faded and stained condition, it has strong visual impact. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by Sherri Driver of Englewood, CO. Ownership/History: Made by Amelia Flavia Russell Tilden (1829 - 1932), wife of Rev. W. C. Tilden (1829 - 1917), both of Susquehanna County, PA. The maker gave the quilt to her grandson, who gave it to his granddaughter, Sherri Driver. Donated to the museum by the maker's great-great-granddaughter, Sherri Driver.
