Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is hand pieced from solid fabrics and flowered, checked, and geometric print fabrics in blue, yellow, and pink, with pink border and sashing and cotton thread embroidery. The batting is a sheet blanket. The binding is turned from the back with mitered corners. The quilt is hand quilted around the pattern pieces with crosshatch patterns in the sashing and border. The stitching is even at 5 stitches per inch in pink cotton thread. The backing is machine pieced cotton fabric. HowAcquired: One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. Ownership/History: Eugenia Mitchell bought the quilt top, took it apart, then reassembled and quilted it. She gave it to her granddaughter, Noelle Mitchell, who later returned it.
