One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is hand and machine pieced from solid, plaid, striped, and flowered fabrics in red, blue, and brown, with red borders. The batting is polyester. The binding is the backing folded to the top with mitered corners and is hand attached. The piece is tied with yarn. The backing is machine pieced red cotton flannel. Ownership/History: Quilt top of unknown provenance. Tied and backed by Eugenia Mitchell in 1987. LocMade: unknown
