Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:
One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is hand and machine pieced of solid, plaid, checked, flowered, and geometric fabrics in blue and pink with white and pink print sashing. The batting is cotton. The binding is hand and machine attached white and pink print cotton with straight corners. The quilt is hand quilted around the pattern pieces and in a one quarter inch grid, using white cotton thread. The stitching is even 4 to 5 to the inch. The backing is wholecloth off white cotton. Ownership/History: Maker unknown. Fabrics c. 1920s - 1930s. Purchased by Eugenia Mitchell at a Goodwill Store on E. Colfax & Pearl St., Denver, CO. Restored by Eugenia Mitchell in 1976. Crayola crayons were used to restore color. LocMade: unknown
