One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is machine pieced of solid, plaid, striped, flowered, and geometric fabrics in red and off-white. The quilt does not have a batting. The binding is hand attached green plaid cotton with rounded corners. The quilt is hand quilted around the pattern pieces and with circles and spokes in the background, using off-white cotton thread. The stitching is even 6 to the inch. The backing is machine pieced off-white cotton. Ownership/History: Original maker unknown. Purchased by Eugenia Mitchell at a Goodwill thrift store on Alameda Avenue in Denver, CO. LocMade: unknown
