Nine Patch with an unusual Flag Border, dated 1895, signed J. A. Lang. The flags in the borders are in the 45-star medallion configuration. The fabrics in this quilt were used as inspiration for reproduction fabrics produced by Marcus Brothers Textile Inc. Provenance unknown. Donated by Franklin Kattnig, Denver, CO.
