The previous owner of the quilt relates that she was given this quilt from her cousin who had in turn been given it by an elderly neighbour while living in Glendale, California c. 30 years ago [c.1960]. The neighbour said that the quilt had been brought over the Oregon Trail when her relatives moved to California.
