This quilt was given to the OAAS and winner received $600.00. It competed at the Brigden Fair which was the first step to becoming a grand champion winner. The competition started in 1979 and completed in 1997. It is #18 of 19 quilts.

One of 19 quilts purchased from various makers in recognition of a traditional continuing Canadian Craft. Each quilt came from a different district and was judged to become the grand champion for all Ontario districts.
