Quilt was passed from the original recipient to her son and daughter-in-law a few years prior to her death in 1985.

This quilt was made by Amanda Bell Cowardin Love, who was born on 06-09-1874 and died in 02-12-1943.
The quilt was given to Verna Love, Amanda's daughter.  The current owner believes it was a wedding present when Verna married Ben Robb in 1933.  Vernal Love Robb gave the quilt to her son, Ben M., and wife, Norma Jean Robb a few years before she passed away in 1985.  

From the age of three, Amada lived on the same farm for the rest of her life.
