Artist's Statement:

My quilt "FAN-tastic" began with a fan quilt from the Connecticut quilt search project. I cut some paper fans and used a paper piece sew and flip method to get my unusual wonky fans. The classic color combo of red and white is not as common in fan quilts, but it does create a GREAT pattern here.
