Artist's Statement:

After years of quilting my personal style is serendipitous. When I created this piece of hand dyed fabric I realized the hexagon design was perfect for this quilt. Hexagons are a favorite shape for quilts, especially Grandmother's Flower Gardens. While I was never quite sure where I was going next, I always found my way. The fabric guided me as I created the square shape, let the quilting flow and finished it on time.
