Location of quiltmaker's death: Covington LA Learned to quilt from: She leaned "on a farm in Bush, LA from future sister-in-law, Larcy Tally, and from ladies in the community." Other quilts by the quiltmaker: Family and friends own them. She lived to be 99 years old. When she died, her family placed a favorite quilt of hers (rainbow) on her coffin instead of flowers.
