Linda started quilting in the late 1980s. She took classes at the local quilt shops and she joined the Quilter's Sew-Ciety of Redding. She enjoyed traveling to all the local quilt shows that are held mostly in the spring and fall of each year. These road trips were all day adventures with stops at fabric shops along the way. There were even trips planned to Sacramento simply to visit as many quilt shops and fabric stores as possible in one day. She belonged to the Tuesday Night Threaders, Sunday Sew and the Thursday Sew 'N Sews in turn as each group ended after many years and the next group began meeting.
Linda made quilts for family, friends and neighbors. She donated many of her quilts for charity.
