Whitney is an amazing artist and creative person! She draws by hand or on the computer. She learned to embroider and sew while in grade school. She makes or puts together her own anime cosplay outfits. She has done the Corpse Bride by finding a thrift store wedding dress, ripping the skirt off of it and modifying a modern corset. She made a Misa Amane cosplay. She made her own renaissance dress from clearance curtain panels Aunt Scarlett got from JCPenney for her middle school renaissance festival and she still wears it to local Celtic Renaissance Festivals. At SacAnime 2014, she modeled a bridesmaid's kimono from her Great Aunt Scarlett's wedding in the Fashion Show along with her Aunt Heather wearing the bride's kimono and Scarlett wearing her Matron of Honor's kimono. The group took first place and a runway video exists showing them strut their stuff.
