Dear Mrs. Gasperik,
Thought to let you know about the Kentucky Fair. It was not so large this year but the quilts were nice and all hand made. My "Quilt Show" took a blue.
Have been debating about visiting the Indiana Fair but there is too little time between trains so will try to go next year.
Mrs. Boyse, who wont the 1st prize at Illinois for quilting, also tried Indiana. She too has been sending quilts there for years and has had very good luck.
Really your quilts should not be hidden away in your bed like that. I've told every one about them (with whom I come in contact) and they all want to see them. Maybe the Illinois Institute of Technology would exhibit them, if not the Art Institute. The latter plans its shows months in advance.
With appreciation of the most enjoyable afternoon you gave me, of your consideration, and all the work of replacing all those lovely quilts,
Sincerely,
Bertha Stenge
