British Quilt Heritage Project

From 1990-1993, the British Quilt Heritage Project, launched by the Quilters' Guild, examined more than 4,000 quilts and other items made prior to 1960. It was the first time such a national index had been attempted, not only in Britian, but anywhere in Europe. It culminated in the publication of Quilt Treasures of Great Britain.1

The British Quilt Study Group has a website, https://www.quiltersguild.org.uk/special-interest/bqsg.
