This quilt top was made by Mrs. Emily Stark of the Brookfield/New Berlin area in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Mrs. Stark used fabric's from her husband's garment factory where aprons and dresses were made. Mrs. Stark was a neighbor of the owner's grandparents and gave the quilt top to the present owner's mother who was 9 years old at the time it was gifted.
