The entire top of this quilt is constructed of hand made yo-yo's joined together with hand stitching. Each of the yo-yo's measure 1.75 inches to 2 inches across. The pink color of a chosen fabric for some of the yo-yo's form a central medallion shape. Pink fabric was used to also frame the medallion. The top edge of the quilt is straight and the bottom corners of the quilt are t-cutouts. The yo-yos are attached to the backing with pearl cotton in the colors of pink and white. Attachment of the yo-yo's to the backing is done in an alternating pattern. The quilt has two accompanying pieces: a pillow sham/cover in unfinished condition measuring 13 in. x 17.50 in. and a runner, finished, measuring 18 in. x 85 in. The condition of the two pieces is similar to the noted condition of the quilt. Each of the yo-yo's measures 1.75 inches to 2 inches.

When the maker moved from her farm to one home and then another she had built she took her Yo-Yo spread with her. She later gave it to her son and he in turn gave it to his sister the present owner about two years before it was documented on 11-04-2023.
