Hexagons and the triangular patches that make up hexagons are outlined .25 inches, the three rectangle sets that made up straight line portion of hexagons are treated as a set, outlined .25 inches as a set, not individually. White spaces have a box-grid 1.25" apart.

There is a possibility that the binding was put on by a different person as there still is hand basting along the edge, somethign this meticulous quilter would probably have removed.
