This quilt was given to the OAAS and winner received $600.00. It competed at the Aylmer Fair which was the first step to becoming a grand champion winner. The competition started in 1979 and completed in 1997. It is #15 of 19 quilts.
Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:
1 of two quilts accepted over the span of 19 years. There are several newspaper clippings, and publishing. The quilt collection has been shown at shows outside the museum, which included the Canadian National Exhibition.
