Essay:

Scarlett gave this quilt to her cousin Edward as a wedding present in 1988. He kept it until his death in 2020. For years, Scarlett wasn't sure he still had the quilt after he divorced the woman he had married or if she had taken the quilt. When his house was cleaned out in August 2021, Scarlett's niece found this quilt stored in a closet. Edward's children wanted Scarlett to have all the sewing/quilting stuff in the house, so it was packed up and brought to Scarlett along with other family quilts.
