Story about this quilt:

This quilt is classified as a heritage quilt made by Black Arkansas quilters This miniature handmade quilt was made using the Grandmother’s Fan design. Its binding is cream colored with a separate ecru/cream colored piece for the back. The miniature quilt also has a strip border made with soft green fabric. Inside the green border are four individual squares containing a four-section fan with yellow ¼ circle hold and white background. The fabric for each fan was made with a variety of vintage fabrics in complimentary colors of purple, blue, pink, and green/yellow. The miniature quilt is quilted with white thread in a wreath and oak leaf decorative pattern.

In the book A Piece of My Soul: Quilts by Black Arkansans, the pattern is referred to as Grandmother’s Fan Quilt.
