Heather Ersts Venters, a native of Maryland, is curator for the Historic Annapolis Foundation. Prior to this, she was exhibition coordinator at the Maryland Historical Society in Baltimore, organizing numerous exhibitions including "Maryland in Focus: A Photographic History, 1839-2000," and "Wallis: Duchess of Windsor." Heather graduated with honors from the masters program in the History of American Decorative Arts offered by Parsons School of Design and The Smithsonian Associates and holds a M.A. in history from George Mason University.
