(Sagittarius)

By Edith B. Crumb.

The ancients believed that people born under the sign of Sagittarius were destined to be prophets and philosophers.

Glory, honor, wealth belong to these people if they will work for them. As an archer we see the person aiming at the end he wants and attaining it - maybe. There are many slips, after all. Failure may come because the Sagittarian is too blunt and outspoken. That is one of his great faults. Being accustomed to aiming at a mark these people hate anything secretive. They want things to be out in the open.

Along with that blunt outspokenness goes a fine sensitiveness to little things. These people are most fastidious in their personal relations. That may account for some of their idealism.

Like an arrow that whistles throught the wind the Sagittarian values personal freedom. He does not want to have his actions inquired into or hampered. And here again he is apt to be blunt and outspoken. He probably used as his slogan "Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies."

Ordinarily Sagittariaus persons are wiry, robust and strong. But, of course, there are exceptions to all rules.
