Horoscope Quilt - Pattern No. 32
Virgo

By Edith B. Crumb.

I hope you will like the Virgo sign which is being given you this week. It represents the people who are born under the sign of Virgo or at the time when the Virgo constellation is high in the heavens.

She belongs, quite fittingly, it seems to me, next to the lion we worked last week. In fact, I kept thinking of the martyrs who were thrown to the lions back in Roman times.

Perfection and much attention to detail mark the characteristics of the Virgo people. The trouble with them is this - they want perfection in everybody and are apt to find it difficult to get along with folks, since they are prone to find fault.

They are champions of reform, which is another reason I think the Virgo of this week is so close to the lion of last week. It was the Christian martyrs who tried to reform the world who were condemned to face the lions in the arena under Roman rule back in New Testament times.

These Virgo folks are practical. They are thrifty. They make fine parents. They are proud of their ancestry, like to associate with fine folks, and enjoy fine books.

Do not put anything in the corner blocks, for you will be given a large star pattern for that.

For Virgo the most harmonious signs are, first, Taurus; second, Capricorn; third, Cancer; fourth, Scorpio; fifth, Pieces.
