(clipping cut-off)...Handy Andy in red and white. It is beautiful.

It might interest you to know where I got my Trip Around the World pattern. Well my fathers cousin spends the winter season in Corpus Christi, Tex and she brought the pattern to Detroit several years ago. It was so attractive that I made one immediately as did many of my friends to whom we did many of my friends to whom we gave the pattern. My pieces are smaller than the ones in the quilt made by the Corner editor, and my quilt has over 4500 small blocks.

I have a great many patterns and exchange them with a friends in Louisville, KY. I have sent her all of the Horoscope patterns up to date, as she is very much enthused about them and can hardly wait for the pattern to be issued each week.

As I am particularly interested, would it be too much for you to tell me where you got your Trip Around the World pattern?
Mrs. K.S.

A friend of mine here is the city had a quilt of this pattern and I copied it; and I have also seen a great many old ones of this same design down in Pennsylvania.

You certainly got a good start at quilt making when you selected that Dresden Plate. It is a good pattern for a beginner and for anyone who never made quilts before I think you are a wonder- your mother too.

I am an interested quilt maker but not a very old hand at it. I quilted my first quilt this winter. My mother in law pieced it and gave it to me. It took me four months to quilt it, but I am surely proud of it.

I have finished enough blocks for the tulip applique pattern, but don’t know whether I should quilt the appliqued blocks or just the plain ones. Would like a suggestion.

I surely am anxious to start the Trip Around the World News quilt patterns and want to make a quilt of each. Have the Wonder Package also and think it is great.

As I have no relatives in Michigan except my Husband and little daughter one of my greatest pleasure is reading the Quilt Club Corner.
Mrs. A.M.L.

You will have a lifetime supply of quilts for yourself and your little daughter if you make a quilt from every News pattern; but you will find it very interested.

For the tulip applique quilt, I would suggest a fancy design for the plain squares and an outline and lattice for the appliqued squares.
