Quilt Club Corner
I would like to became a member of the Detroit News Quilt Club if I may. I have a quilt of the Dresden Plate nearly finished yet but intend to try soon.

Will some one please tell me what size batting to use and what kind of material to use for the lining that is easy to quilt through?

I enjoy all of the letters in the Club Corner very much, also the radio talks and hope they will go on for always.

I called on Mrs. Carrow and Gran one day last week and they have some lovely quilts.

Be sure to send in your enrollment blank to the Quilt Club, for you are certainly eligible.

I should think that either Gran or Mrs. Carrow could tell you about batting or lining. Perhaps someone else will write again also. Just watch the Corner.

I read your Corner nearly every night and also listen to your broadcasts. I listen to your broadcasts. I listed last Wednesday. I have made the Garden quilt from the News pattern.

Happy to hear from you, Mrs. Miller and know that you read the Corner and listen to the broadcasts. Te quilt about which you ask is not from a News patterns so I can not help with it. Sorry!
