Old-Time Nosegay - Leaflet No. 24

By Edith B. Crumb.

Well, here is the cosmos for the tenth flower in your border strip. All of the petals are made from one pattern. The difference comes in the overlapping and the arrangement.

You might develop this flower in pale reddish lavender print. You have the rose and pink and the yellow quite close in the border and here a chance for a lavender. It need not be the blue lavender of the trillium, but a redder shade.

Now there are only five more flowers to be put on the border strips, and I know that you are elated, because you are so near the end of your task. But I am sure you are enjoying making this fascinating quilt.
