Did you ever see a prettier boat? How would you like to sail in a plaid boat on polka dot waves?

The making of this block is very simple and the instructions for tracing and cutting are the same as those suggested on Leaflet No. 1.

The body of the boat should be cut of material that forms straight lines for the base; and it may be of brown and white, the waves being of blue with white polka dots.

Follow the designs of the patches shown on the sails as nearly as possible, introduce some with bright red in them, for what boy doesn't like bright colors?

Watch for the announcement of the leaflet next week. This will have on it a pattern of the tree which is to be used in the blocks of the center portion of the quilt and also for the border.
