Laurel Wreath Quilt - Leaflet No. 13
Morning Glory

You might have a choice of color schemes for the flower on this leaflet. You might make a blue morning glory with plain blue and figured blue print. In the figured material, which must surely be color fast, you might choose a design that used pink as well as blue. Or you might reverse the scheme having the plain petals pink and the figured ones either pink and white, or pink and blue. You might even work out the flower with lavender prints and plain pink material. As you can see, the variety is really great. As planned, the flower becomes the first one in the third row. That might influence you as to the color.

It might be a good idea not to put any of these blocks together until you have finished the 25. In that way you can change them around until you get the color sequence that pleases you. It is a good plan to lay them out on the bed and arrange them as if they were checkers moving one here, one there, and one back again until you get an arrangement you like.

In this flower you will have seven pieces counting the petals and calyx. There will be one stem and two leaves.
