Laurel Wreath Quilt - Leaflet No. 19
Marsh Marigold

For this flower you might select a plain color, a deeper plain color in the same general tone and then a printed material that has some of the tones or shades in it as are found in the plain colors.

The golden browns and hennas are attractive for this but there is no reason for limiting yourself to yellows and browns if you prefer to develop this flower in blues, pinks, or even lavenders. The main thing is to get a harmonious color scheme.

And if your room needs more of blue than it does of yellow, why, put it in.

This flower is to be appliqued to a 12 1/2 inch by 10 1/2, and there are six different pieces in the group. Then there is the stem with the two leaves.
