War Cuts Off Hair Supply
Jane Grant is checking the last shipment of hair received from Europe for the studios of Hollywood. The market has now been cut off by the war. The peasants of Central Europe furnish the hair for the Hollywood wigs and the hair costs up to $50 an ounce.
