Quilters Ask to Borrow Well-Known Patterns
By Edith B. Crumb

Yesterday's meeting of the Quilt Club Corner was a happy one because of the return of Mrs. Sadie Lanstra after a long illness. She wishes to thank all who were so kind to her when she was in the hospital and she is looking forward to being with us every week from now on.

Mrs. Margaret Mowatt is in Women's Hospital, 432 Hancock avenue east, Room 223. She expects to be there for some time, so do send her a message of cheer. Mrs. Mowatt is always one of the first to help any one else who is unfortunate.

Mrs. Marian Ridler wishes to remind you that Friday, November 28, will be the dead line for handing in your articles to her for the Nancy's Belles' Bazar. By bringing them down to the Quilt Club meeting on the afternoon of the date set by her you will save yourselft and also her a lot of trouble. And, besides, the rest of us want to see all of those things.

Mrs. M. Stratton, 8124 Coyle avenue, and Mrs. Charles N. Smith, R.R. No. 2, St. James, Minn., would like to have the pattern for the Trip Around the World. Surely someone will be kind enough to loan her patterns or directions to these women.

Mrs. Louis Balint, 705 Cleophus street, Lincoln Park, would like very much to have the pattern for the Dutch Doll quilt and also one of the little Overall Boy. Is there someone who can send these to Mrs. Balint?

Four of the busiest women at the meeting yesterday were Mrs. Eva Schaub, Mrs. Marian Ridler, Mrs. Steve Vida and Mrs. Mary Jones. Their tasks was to cut 15 yards of percale into six inch squares and fill mystery envelopes with them. Instead of these envelopes holding 10, 6 and 1 patches respectively they will now hold, 3, 5 and 8.
