A request for a photo of a quilt.
Oct. 13, 1966
Dear Mrs. Gasperik:

I was very happy to hear from you. I also want to thank your daughter for taking her time to write me a letter for you.

I am 58 years old and am making my third quilt. I want to make four of them one for myself, one each for my grandsons (I have two) and one for my daughter-in-law.

I got a late start making quilts but I always liked them very much. I didn’t have time when I was younger as I did beauty work for 25 years.

Your children and grandchildren must be very proud of you to, think that you are 75 years of age and won first prize. You sound like you would be a very nice person.

We do have something in common my mother was born in Italy and she too could do beautiful work, and such a good mother. I miss her very much. She has been gone 12 years now.

I would be very happy to have you send me a color photo of your quilt so I can show some of my friends how beautiful your quilt was.

I’ll will be more than glad to pay you for the photo, colored films are expensive.

Thank you again and may God keep you and bless you for years to come.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Charles (Ann) Antonacci
