Basic Color for Spring Furnishing
You can choose no more satisfactory or smart color than brown for your first spring decorating scheme. It can be used alone or with an accent. If you choose brown it can include beige, gold and rusty shades as well as the real tobacco brown.
Brown- choose it in broadloom carpeting; in background of chintz and linens, in furniture coverings, and in potteries gadgets etc.
Accent it with turquoise, white, or canary yellow.
In backgrounds such as wallpaper, screens, etc.

In potteries, lamp shades and bases, glass, in patterned fabrics of all kinds, and in plain linens for bedrooms, bath or dining room.
