Kathryn W Berenson is a writer, lecturer, and dealer in antique French and pre-1850 American quilts and textiles. Her interest in textiles began as a child and became her prime focus after she discovered the quilted textile treasures of France. She gave up her career as a print and broadcast journalist and as a media relations consultant to become sole proprietor of Kathryn Berenson Quilts, established in 1988.
