Ruth Rhoades holds a B.S. in Education from Kent State University and a M.S. in Business Administration from Wayne State University. She taught math and business at the high school level. Now retired, Ruth focuses on researching old fabrics. She has been president of three guilds in three different states. She gives programs, teaches workshops, enters quilts in juried shows, and volunteers at quilting events. In 1991, she started the R & R Quilter's Retreat.
