Lynn A. Bonfield divides her time between Vermont and California where she has been the director of the Labor Archives & Research Center at San Francisco State University since 1985. Her research concentrates on nineteenth-century letters and diaries of northern Vermont, emphasizing the lives of ordinary women. She has published in Vermont History and California History and is co-author of the book Roxana's Children: The Biography of a Nineteenth-Century Vermont Family.
