Deonna Todd Green, daughter of Ione Sawyer and Marshall Todd, is a self-taught quilter, a homemaker and mother of four children and has been a resident of the Remus community all her life. Deonna has been quilting for 8 years and has completed several quilts of different styles. Her Todd Family Quilt was one of 264 quilts selected by the Michigan State University Museum, Michigan Quilt Project from over 5000 Michigan quilts and is featured in the publication "Michigan Quilts: Celebrating 150 years of a Textile Tradition," in celebration of Michigan's sesquicentennial anniversary of statehood. This quilt was on loan to the Michigan State University Museum for exhibition and traveled to other locations around the State.
