From Uncoverings 1998, Volume 19 of the Research Papers of the American Quilt Study Group
1998
By: Barron, Tracy W.
Tracy Barron grew up in Virginia, but now calls Massachusetts her home. She earned her B.A. in English and has a Master of Arts in Teaching. When she resumed her teaching career after taking time out to raise four children, she discovered quilt history. This led to a commitment to combine her love of quilts and English in her scholarly work. Tracy has previously published "Quilting Imagery in the Writings of Rachel Field" in Uncoverings 1996.
